FAQ
-
Community is an important value of the Kingdom Practicum. To maximize classroom interaction, team dynamics, and mentoring opportunities, the maximum number of trainees accepted into the program is 12.
-
Trainees are required to attend each class session, participate in the weekly team meeting, engage in their ministry outreach, and attend the occasional team retreat.
While each trainee may have different ministry outreach situations and opportunities, the general schedule would follow this pattern: Classroom learning Monday - Friday from 9am - 12pm + A once a week evening team meeting. Any available time after this will be for study preparation, ministry outreach, and inner healing sessions.
Note: Ministry outreach will be a minimum of 6 hours weekly depending on the relationships made and the opportunities that each intern is offered.
Weekends will be very flexible with occasional ministry or retreats. Interns will be part of a missional, simple-church model.

Most trainees raise the necessary funds for the Intensive through Partnership Development. As potential future cross-cultural workers, it is expected that trainees will build a support team to partner with them (both financially and in prayer support) to empower them to receive this strategic training.
Partnership Development coaching is offered from experienced Kingdom Practicum staff.
Each trainee will set up a “Ministry Account” to handle the funds raised for the Intensive. The funds raised will be put into the trainee’s Ministry Account. Donors will receive a tax-deductible receipt from the account administrator. Each month trainees will turn in their ministry and living expenses to the account administrator to be reimbursed. This Ministry Account can be set up through the sending church, sending agency, or other appropriate organizations. This process is great training for future ministry.

Community is an important value of the Kingdom Practicum. Therefore, most trainees will be required to live in the housing arrangements provided. Requests for other housing options will be considered; for example, someone who already lives in Minneapolis or St. Paul and would commute to the classes and activities.
