We equip, empower & release. You gain hands-on, practical, cross cultural training.

Our Vision

Equipping and empowering effective cross-cultural laborers to partner with God in igniting gospel movements among the least-reached here, near, and far.

Our Mission

To equip and empower using the five practicum elements to set trainees on a trajectory to become catalysts for movement among least-reached peoples here, near, and far.

Core Values

  • Philippians 3:10-12. We have a passion to know, love, and become like Jesus Christ.

  • Acts 1:8. We walk in the authority, power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We value the OT and NT as our final authority, believing it is sufficient for the whole of life.

  • Romans 10:13-15. We value God’s desire for none to perish but for all to come to repentance. Therefore we are intentional in cross-cultural relationships with life-on-life discipleship. We invest our time in interested men and women of peace. In discipleship, we implant the DNA of movement into the hearts of new believers.

  • Matthew 6:33. We have a passion to be good Kingdom citizens and to expand His Kingdom.

  • Acts 17:16-17. We respect their culture and faith seeking to help them find and embrace Jesus and the Kingdom of God.

  • Luke 8:16-17. We anticipate and expect new believers to remain in their communities as light, spiritually reproducing through the transformational work of the Holy Spirit.

  • Romans 12:10. We value unity in diversity as expressed through love and grace towards one another in a culture of honor, which identifies and esteems the giftedness of each member of the team.

  • Colossians 1:10. We desire that each person grow in their pursuit of wholeness and walk in their giftedness through freedom in Christ.

  • The Kingdom Practicum is blessed with an amazing group of instructors and mentors who are practitioners and have decades of cross-cultural experience. While most will be interacting with the trainees in person, some may be connecting virtually from various parts of the world.

Testimonials

  • “I’m excited about the ministry of the Kingdom Practicum (KP)! Led by experts who are also practitioners, KP’s “Five Components” will equip you for ministry in intercultural contexts whether in North America or beyond. Not only will you grow in your ministry knowledge, but at the same time your character will be shaped to be more like Jesus and you will be given the skills necessary to confidently go where God has called you. KP is one of the best cross-cultural training programs around... I highly recommend it!”

Dr. Larry W. Caldwell, PhD | Academic Dean, Sioux Falls Seminary | Former Director of Training and Strategy for Converge

  • “Looking back, I can’t believe we were even considering other options. The KP shaped us in so many ways, it feels like we gained 10 years’ worth of on-the-field experience. We would recommend the Kingdom Practicum to anyone considering long-term work with (cousins). There is no better way to equip yourself.”

  • “The KP is a truly incredible experience. We joined because we wanted to learn from experts with decades of experience. Honestly, it feels like we are now building on their foundations. You might be feeling like you just want to ‘dive in’ and spend time with locals. You may even have 10-15 years ministry experience and degrees like we had. What we found out was we didn’t know what we didn’t know. Don’t overthink it, lay the right foundation and join the KP.”

  • “After interviewing 120 + Kingdom Practicum participants over 10 years, each one said that the Kingdom Practicum was the most transformational experience of their lives!”

    — Mr. K / Global leader, Cross-cultural Researcher, Teacher, Mentor —

  • “If we had this 8-week intensive before we went to the field we would have been months, perhaps even years ahead, in life, team dynamics and ministry. This is an excellent opportunity for both those laboring here among least-reached peoples and for those moving to another culture.”

    40-year Missionary Veteran

  • “What the Kingdom Practicum team is doing to prepare folks to Reach Muslims and to be better prepared for life on the field is truly exciting. I wish I could have experienced it myself before launching. I truly believe Converge IM should send our appointees to the Kingdom Practicum.”
